Alex Demagall is a PhD student working in Dr. Daniel Selva’s Systems Engineering, Architecture, and Knowledge Lab at Texas A&M University. Alex completed his undergraduate degree in aerospace engineering at The Ohio State University where he worked in Dr. Igor Adamovich’s Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics Lab using laser diagnostics to analyze the breakdown of carbon dioxide in hypersonic flow. He is currently working on using artificial intelligence methods to improve the process of spacecraft and space mission design.
