Joshua Elston is a first-year M.S. student studying Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University. In 2024, he completed his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences with a minor in Engineering Management at the University of Colorado Boulder. During his undergraduate degree, Joshua worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the CU Bioastronautics Lab, where his research sought to improve methods of predicting human cognitive states for human-autonomy teaming in deep space environments.
Joshua’s research interests include cognitive state modeling and improving adaptive autonomous agents for human-autonomy interaction. He is currently working on the HCAAM and MaARS projects.
